Consider joining Delmarva’s premier community handbell ensemble
If you are 18, can read music, and enjoy live musical performances, you should consider joining us. There are also opportunities for non-ringing volunteers (at right).
Maybe you are already playing in a church group and would like to try spreading your wings musically. However, previous handbell experience is not necessarily required. We also have a beginner-to-intermediate group, Bay2Bay Ringers.
A commitment to Capital Ringers is rigorous but rewarding. During rehearsal season (fall and late winter), Capital Ringers rehearse at least two hours every Sunday afternoon. Members are expected to help out in other areas that reflect their personal interests such as equipment maintenance, publicity, mentoring newer ringers, community outreach, and other opportunities.
Opportunities for non-ringing volunteers, too
While our ringers are important, there is a lot going on behind the scenes to make our live shows and recordings successful. We especially need volunteers to join our tech team that focuses on sound, video and lights. We also welcome people to help with publicity, set design, administrative help, and more.
Contact Judy Peterson, our Membership Services Support Team lead, with any inquiries about joining Capital Ringers or Bay2BayRingers.
Please take the time to review our membership handbook (right), application forms, and policy appendices to those policies (far right). If you have any technical issues with the handbook or attachments, please contact our webmaster, email@example.com.

Application forms and appendices to handbook
Here are applications for ringers and non-ringers, as well as appendices to the membership handbook which are important to the organization and included separately here.
We thought we would let you know that the Raleigh Ringers had to cancel their last four performances due to health reasons. We wish them well, and we are so honored to have watched and heard them perform in Rehoboth.Due to health concerns this morning, and after discussing with our hosts, we have made the decision to err on the side of caution and postpone the remainder of our summer tour. Our concerts in Canton, OH, Pittsburgh and State College, PA, and Oakland, MD will not be held as planned. We are working to reschedule these concerts and will communicate the new dates as soon as we know them. For those who already have tickets, details will be coming about options for refunds or exchanging them for the postponed dates. We are disappointed, as we know many of you will be as well, but we feel this is the safest option for our audiences, hosts, and our ringers. We hope to see you when the concerts are rescheduled! ...
