Our beginner and intermediate ensemble
Bay2Bay Ringers is a handbell ensemble of Capital Ringers Inc. It includes beginning and intermediate ringers who want to learn and hone handbell skills. The group is a community outreach ensemble, offering presentations for life care communities, nursing homes, community clubs, senior centers and smaller settings.
They rehearse from 9 to 11 Saturday mornings at Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St. in Milford.
Judy Moore, the director, has worked with bell choirs for more than fifty years. She has a Masters degree in Music from Westminster Choir College. Her musical experience is in education and music ministry in Illinois, Colorado and Delaware. She was conductor of the Delaware Choral Society in Dover and has rung with the Capital Ringers for six years. She currently is retired and living in Rehoboth Beach. She very much enjoys the challenge and enthusiasm of helping people who are curious about bells figure out how to achieve their beautiful sound.
